Chemical Cleaning Specialists Inc. has been faithfully serving the Marine, Industrial, and United States Government businesses since the company was established in 1997.

Chemical Cleaning Specialists is owned and operated by Harald Laugginger, a Navy veteran who has been in the Marine Industry for over 24 years.  He began his career at CCS as vice president at the company's former Portsmouth, VA location.

Now conveniently located in the South Norfolk area of Chesapeake, Chemical Cleaning Specialists is near all of the many Hampton Roads marine and commercial industries.  The move was the stepping-stone CCS needed for the company's development, and it has indeed grown significantly at the new location.

Customers have come to depend on CCS's quick turnaround for all of their passivation, pipe pickling, and acid cleaning needs.  CCS performs many shipboard tasks as well, including but not limited to: CHT systems, firemain piping systems, heat exchangers, condensers, boilers, and coolers.

With over 30 years combined experience in all aspects of shipboard or in-plant chemical cleaning, Chemical Cleaning Specialists always adheres to strict policies in safety and in Quality Assurance.

Our Quality Assurance Systems always meets or exceeds NAVSEA Standard Item 009-04, and our many other qualifications include ISO) 10012-1, ANSI/NCSL 2540-1 and ANSI-ASQC Q9002.   Virginia Ship Repair Association (VSRA) performs yearly QA audits.

Chemical Cleaning Specialists is listed in the Small Business Administrations Central Contractor Registration, and is a member of Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Virginia Ship Repair Association.
